The Asthma: Take Action. Take Control. campaign has driven more than 2 million dollars in funding over 18 months for the CHEST Foundation from several corporate partners. The campaign consists of press releases, media placements in priority markets, audio news releases, MAT release, an interactive patient online assessment tool, sharable social content, a Twitter chat with patients and clinicians, video, infographs, live activations, patient education guide, a shared decision-making tool for patients and clinicians, and a campaign website.
The campaign continues to gain momentum and grow. My role in the campaign has been to present opportunities to potential corporate partners, to develop the look and feel of the campaign, determine the most appropriate tactics and advise our foundation and partners on direction, manage several vendors, work closely with our team pitching the media, and ensure the campaign’s digital footprint is appropriate.
